Getting to know Pipe Doctor Patch Repair Kits from S1E Ltd.

The Pipe Doctor No-Dig Pipe Repair range delivers professional contractors a permanent and watertight finish to damaged pipes, every time.

The first no-dig patch repair system to gain WRc Approval, our Pipe Doctor kits challenge the traditional excavation repair methods with innovative trenchless CIPP technology and simple installation method.

With thousands and thousands of patches installed over the years, Pipe Doctor patch repair has proven to be a proactive approach to providing an effective structural point repair. Repairing damaged pipes due to issues such as corrosion, cracks, joint displacements, and root and water infiltration. The Pipe Doctor patch repair kits are efficiently repairing areas of pipeline that require rehabilitation, while saving the contractor/installer time, investment, materials, and labour as the Patch Repair Kits offer everything needed for a single repair, without waste or mess on site.

Pipe Doctor Patch Repair systems are the no-dig alternative, as the process involves creating a pipe within a pipe with minimal change to the original diameter, therefore there is no need to dig and replace as repairs can be made only at the place of requirement – plus, they can be made any time of year, even under the frozen ground. The point repair solution eliminates the need for disruption and any time-consuming excavation.

Patch Repair Kits

The Pipe Doctor Patch Repair Kits contain everything needed for a single repair, right down to consumables such as wire ties that could easily be forgotten on site. Contractors just need to pick up a kit for a repair, rather than checking and ordering every individual component – an easier and more convenient way to get ready for a job.

Our Pipe Doctor Kits are available for repairs to straight pipe or swept bends and can be purchased with winter, summer, or rapid resin.

What does the Pipe Doctor Patch Repair Kit include?

  • Pre-measured fibreglass mat.

What is the Pipe Doctor Kit pre-measured resin bag?

Pipe Doctor kits feature a unique resin bag, containing the two elements – silicate resin (dark brown in colour) and sodium water-glass (clear in colour) – separated by a sturdy clip.

With little to no odour, our Resin is safe for indoor usage, is non-flammable, non-hazardous and can cure in the presence of water, for no washout during installation.

This system provides real benefits on-site:

  • Guaranteed to always have the correct mix.
  • No contact with unmixed resins, and less mess.
  • Double-sealed and secure bag.
  • No wastage.
  • Safe disposal of bag.
  • Transparent bag for a visual check when mixing the resin.
  • Supplied in two sections, separated by a plastic sealing clip – working time only begins when actively mixed by removing the clip.

Pipe Doctor aims for a greener patch repair.

The cardboard packaging box that holds the kits are made from recycled cardboard, and of course can be recycled too after use, while the Pipe Doctor patch repair kit also uses recycled plastic for their lay flat tube (LFT) and groundsheet materials which save a total of almost 7 tonnes of virgin plastic per year.

“The recycled plastic performed excellently in tests, so customers won’t see any difference in practice, just a slight colour change,” stated S1E Operations Manager, Russell Edwards. “The choice for recycled plastic is great for the environment as well as being a step in our journey of continuous improvement and environmental responsibility.”
